England - 2014/15 Sky Bet League

Football League One (often referred to as League One for short or Sky Bet League 1) is the second-highest division of the Football League and the third tier in the English football league system.

Football League One was introduced for the 2004–05 season. It was previously known as the Football League Second Division and prior to the advent of the Premier League, the Football League Third Division.

At present (2014–15 season), Oldham Athletic hold the longest tenure in League One, last being out of the division in the 1996–97 season when they were relegated from the Championship. There are currently six former Premier League clubs competing in the League One, namely Barnsley F.C., Bradford City, Coventry City, Oldham Athletic, Sheffield United and Swindon Town.

The 2014–15 Football League One (referred to as the Sky Bet League One for sponsorship reasons) is the eleventh season of the Football League Championship under its current title and the twenty-second season under its current league division format. The season is set to begin on 9 August 2014.

There are 24 clubs in Football League One.  At the end of the season a table of the final League standings is determined, based on the following criteria in this order: points obtained, goal difference, goals scored, an aggregate of the results between two or more clubs (ranked using the previous three criteria) and, finally, a series of one or more play-off matches.

At the end of each season the top two clubs, together with the winner of the play-offs between the clubs which finished in 3rd–6th position, are promoted to Football League Championship and are replaced by the three clubs that finished at the bottom of that division.

Similarly, the four clubs that finished at the bottom of Football League One are relegated to Football League Two and are replaced by the top three clubs and the club that won the 4th–7th place play-offs in that division.

Cyprus - 2014–15 Cyprus Second Division (Δεύτερη Κατηγορία)

Second Division (Greek: Δεύτερη Κατηγορία) is the second highest football league in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association.
The 2014–15 Cypriot Second Division began on 20 September 2014. There was a new league system in place with the eight teams of the B1 Division, merging with the eight teams of the B2 Division, creating a unified Second Division. Before the season, Alki Larnaca was dissolved due to financial problems and AEK Kouklia and AEP Paphos merged to create Pafos FC, reducing the total of clubs competing from 16 to 14.

Latvia - SMScredit.lv Virsliga 2015

The SMScredit.lv Latvian Higher League (Latvian: SMScredit.lv Virslīga) is the top tier of association football in Latvia and is organised by the Latvian Football Federation. The new season kicks off in mid-March of every year, and runs until early November. There are no games in winter because of the harsh climate. From 2005 until 2011, the league was sponsored by the telecommunications operator LMT, naming the league LMT Virslīga. In 2012 the league was reorganised in partnership with the NGO "Latvijas Futbola virslīga", adopting the NGO's name. Before the current season in March 2013, the league signed a sponsorship deal with the microfinancing company SMScredit.lvand acquired its current name SMScredit.lv Virslīga.

The 2015 Latvian Higher League is the 24th season of top-tier football in Latvia. FK Ventspils are the defending champions. The season started on 13 March 2015. FC Jūrmala was relegated at the end of the 2014 season, and were replaced by FB Gulbene.
