Malta - 2014/15 Maltese First Division

The Maltese First Division (also known as the Bank of Valletta First Division due to sponsorship reasons) is the second-highest division in Maltese football, behind the Maltese Premier League and above the Maltese Second Division. The league has been running for many years.

Twelve teams take part in the league. The top two teams are promoted to the Maltese Premier League, whilst the two lowest-finishing teams are relegated to the Maltese Second Division.

The 2014–15 Maltese First Division (also known as 2014–15 BOV 1st Division due to sponsorship reasons) will began in 12 September 2014 and will end in 16 April 2015.

These teams will contest the 2014–15 Maltese First Division season:

• Gudja United
• Gżira United
• Lija Athletic
• Melita
• Msida SJ F.C
• Mqabba F.C. 
• Pembroke Athleta F.C.

Vietnam - V.League 1 2015

The 2015 V.League 1 (known as the Toyota V.League 1 for sponsorship reasons) season will be the 32nd season of the V.League 1, the highest division of Football in Vietnam. The season will begin on 4 January 2015 and will finish on 20 September 2015.

Đồng Tháp were promoted after winning the 2014 V.League 2 championship, but in November 2014 they decided to withdraw from the league altogether. They later revered their decision once sponsorship was found to fund the side for the coming season.
