Germany - 2017/18 Bundesliga

The 2017–18 Bundesliga is the 55th season of the Bundesliga, Germany's premier football competition. It began on 18 August 2017 and will conclude on 12 May 2018. The fixtures were announced on 29 June 2017.

A total of 18 teams are participating in this edition of the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich were the defending champions and won their 27th Bundesliga title on 7 April with five games to spare, winning a sixth consecutive title for the first time in their history

Germany - 2017/18 3. Liga

The 3. Liga is the third division of football in Germany.The 2017–18 3. Liga is the tenth season of the 3. Liga. It began on 21 July 2017 and will conclude on 12 May 2018.

The teams which are not reserve teams of Bundesliga teams among the 20 teams in the league compete for promotion to the 2. Bundesliga, while the three bottom teams are relegated to one of the five Regionalligen: Regionalliga Nord, Regionalliga Nordost, Regionalliga West, Regionalliga Südwest, and Regionalliga Bayern. If, however, a reserve team is playing in the 3. Liga and the respective first team is relegated to the 3. Liga, the reserve team will be relegated to the Regionalliga regardless of its league position

The winner and runner-up in a given season is automatically promoted to the 2. Bundesliga. The third place team enters a home/away playoff against the 16th placed team of the 2. Bundesliga for the right to enter/stay in the 2. Bundesliga. Teams placing in the bottom three are automatically sent to the Regionalliga.

Germany - 2017/18 2. Bundesliga

The 2. Bundesliga is the second division of professional football in Germany. The 2. Bundesliga is ranked below the Bundesliga and above the 3. Liga in the German football league system.

The 2017–18 2. Bundesliga is the 44th season of the 2. Bundesliga. It began on 28 July 2017 and will conclude on 13 May 2018.

The the top two teams are promoted automatically, and the third placed team plays a two-leg playoff against the team that finishes 16th in the Bundesliga.

The bottom two teams are relegated into the 3. Liga automatically; the third from bottom team can avoid relegation by winning a two-leg playoff against the team that finishes in 3rd place in the 3. Liga.

Germany - Regionalliga 2014/15

The 2014–15 Regionalliga is the seventh season of the Regionalliga, the third under the new format, as the fourth tier of the German football league system. The champions of Regionalliga West – Fortuna Köln – and the winner – SG Sonnenhof Großaspach – and third-placed team - FSV Mainz 05 II - of the Regionalliga Südwest were promoted to the 3. Liga. SV Elversberg, Wacker Burghausen and Saarbrücken were relegated from 3. Liga.

Regionalliga Nord

18 teams from the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein will compete in the third season of the reformed Regionalliga Nord. 15 teams were retained from the last season and 3 teams were promoted from the Oberliga – Niedersachsenliga champions Lüneburger SK Hansa and the two Regionalliga North promotion playoff winners VfB Lübeck and FT Braunschweig.

Regionalliga Nordost

16 teams from the states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia will compete in the third season of the reformed Regionalliga Nordost. 13 teams were retained from the last season and 2 teams that were promoted from the Oberliga. BFC Dynamo qualified by winning NOFV-Oberliga Nord and Bautzen qualified by winning NOFV-Oberliga Süd.

On 1 January 2015, insolvency proceedings were opened against VFC Plauen. Subsequently, they were placed into administration and all their results and records were expunge. Finally was demoted to NOFV Oberliga.
Union Berlin folded their under-23 team at the end of this season, so no team was relegated. The league will expand to 18 teams next season

Regionalliga West

18 teams from North Rhine-Westphalia will compete in the second season of the reformed Regionalliga West: 15 teams are retained from the last season. FC Kraywon Oberliga Niederrhein and Hennef the Oberliga Mittelrhein. Rödinghausen placed second in the Oberliga Westfalen although Arminia Bielefeld II won the competition but was unable to promote as the first team plays in the 3. Liga.

Regionalliga Südwest

18 teams from Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland will compete in the third season of the Regionalliga Südwest. Elversberg and Saarbrücken relegated from the 3. Liga. 13 teams were retained from last season and 3 teams were promoted from the Oberliga: Astoria Walldorf won the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and Pirmasens won the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz/Saar. As no team from the Hessenliga applied for licence, the second-placed teams of the other Oberligas had a play-off match which was won by Nöttingen.

Regionalliga Bayern

18 teams from Bavaria will compete in the third season of the Regionalliga Bayern. 13 teams were retained from the last season. Wacker Burghausen relegated from the 3. Liga. 2 teams were promoted from the Bayernliga. Bayreuth won Bayernliga Nord and Garching - runner-up of the Bayernliga Süd - gained promotion due to the withdrawal from competition of BC Aichach.

Germany - 3. Liga 2014/15

The 3. Liga, 3. Fußball-Liga in German, is the third division of football in Germany. The league started with the beginning of the 2008–09 season, when it replaced the Regionalliga as the third tier football league in Germany. In the German football league system, it is positioned between the 2. Bundesliga and the semi-professional Regionalliga, which became the fourth division and initially consisted of three groups of 18 clubs playing separately. In Germany, the 3. Liga is the highest division that a football club's reserve team can play in.

The 2014–15 3. Liga is the seventh season of the 3. Liga, Germany's third-level football league.
The league consists of twenty teams: The teams placed fourth through seventeenth of the 2013–14 season, the lowest two teams from the 2013–14 2nd Bundesliga, the three promoted teams the 2013–14 Fußball-Regionalliga and the losers of the relegation play-off between the 16th-placed 2nd Bundesliga team and the third-placed 3rd Liga team.
