Germany - 2017/18 Bundesliga

The 2017–18 Bundesliga is the 55th season of the Bundesliga, Germany's premier football competition. It began on 18 August 2017 and will conclude on 12 May 2018. The fixtures were announced on 29 June 2017.

A total of 18 teams are participating in this edition of the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich were the defending champions and won their 27th Bundesliga title on 7 April with five games to spare, winning a sixth consecutive title for the first time in their history

France - 2017/18 Ligue 2

Ligue 2 ( also known as Domino's Ligue 2 due to sponsorship by Domino's Pizza, is a French professional football league. The league serves as the second division of French football and is one of two divisions making up the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), the other being Ligue 1, the country's top football division. Contested by 20 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with both Ligue 1 and the third division Championnat National. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 38 games each totaling 380 games in the season. Most games are played on Fridays and Mondays, with a few games played during weekday and weekend evenings. Play is regularly suspended the last weekend before Christmas for two weeks before returning in the second week of January.

The 2017–18 Ligue 2 season is the 79th season since its establishment. There are 20 clubs in the league, with three promoted teams from Championnat National replacing the three teams that were relegated from Ligue 2 following the 2016–17 season. All clubs that secured Ligue 2 status for the season were subject to approval by the DNCG before becoming eligible to participate.

A relegation play-off will be held at the end of the season between the 18th-placed Ligue 2 team and the 3rd-placed team of Championnat National,
In the 2016-2017 season, Paris FC made the playoff/relegation final against US Orleans but lost over the two legged game on aggregate. Paris FC were then administratively promoted to Ligue 2 after SC Bastia were demoted to the third division for financial irregularities.

Bulgaria - 2017/18 First Professional Football League

The First Professional Football League (Първа професионална футболна лига) is a Bulgarian professional league for men's association football clubs. Standing at the top of the Bulgarian football league system, it serves as the country's primary football competition. The league determines the champion of Bulgaria and is contested by fourteen teams. It operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid, the Second League. Known by its previous name A Group, the Bulgarian top-tier was fully restructured during the summer of 2016, when new licensing criteria were introduced.

The 2017–18 First Professional Football League is the 94th season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, the 69th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid and also the 2nd season of the First Professional Football League, which decides the Bulgarian champion. The season is the second with a new league structure and strict financial criteria where 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league is split up in championship and relegation playoffs. The new league structure, inspired by the ones used by the Belgian First Division A and Danish Superliga, was approved by the Bulgarian Football Union on 6 June 2016. The fixture list was released on 22 June 2017.

The Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1  الرابطة الجزائرية المحترفة الأولى لكرة القدم‎); known as Championnat National de Première Division or Ligue 1 for short, and formerly known as the Championnat National 1, is the Algerian professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves as the top division of the Algerian football league system. Ligue 1 is one of two divisions making up the Ligue de Football Professionnel, the other being Ligue Professionnelle 2. The league is contested by 16 clubs, and it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Ligue 2,

The 2017–18 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 will be the 54th season of the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 since its establishment in 1962. A total of 16 teams will contest the league.

Malta - 2017/18 First Division

The Maltese First Division (also known as the Bank of Valletta First Division due to sponsorship reasons) is the second-highest division in Maltese football, behind the Maltese Premier League and above the Maltese Second Division. The league has been running for many years.

14 teams take part in the league. The top two teams are promoted to the Maltese Premier League, whilst the three lowest-finishing teams are relegated to the Maltese Second Division. The third place team plays the tenth place team in the Maltese Premier League in a play-off game for promotion.Due to the expansion of the Maltese Premier League starting from the season 2017/18, 3 teams will be promoted while the 4th placed team will face the play-off game. On the other hand, only 2 teams will get relegated to the Maltese Second Division.

Cape Verde - 2018 Campeonato Caboverdiano de Futebol

The Cape Verdean Football Championship or the Campeonato Caboverdiano de Futebol is a football competition that was created in 1976 in Cape Verde. A local championship was founded in 1953 before independence, when the islands were still part of the Portuguese Empire.

The 2018 Cape Verdean Football Championships season is the 39th beginner level (likely amateur) competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. The season began earlier starting on 7 April 2018.

A total of 12 clubs participate in the national championship (Campeonato Nacional). Cape Verdean clubs in the nine inhabited islands will play between late 2017 and early 2018 in the eleven regional leagues, where each league winner qualify for the national championship. The defending champions which is Sporting Praia also qualified, and if they win their regional league, the runner-up of their league also qualifies.

Championship played out in a tournament between the champions of the nine islands (the 10th island (Santa Luzia) is not inhabited).

The season is the second time featuring three groups where the top three qualifies alongside the second placed club with the most points (if one has the same, it may include the most goals scored) into the knockout phase.

Gozo - 2017/18 BOV GFA Second Division

The Gozitan Second Division, known as Melita Second Division for sponsorship reasons with Melita is the second and lowest level in the Gozo Football League. The league was first competed in 1948.

The Melita Second Division is played in the same manner as the First Division. It is based on three rounds, each team play each other three times, thus the teams in the Second Division play 18 games each in total. The season is usually held between September and April. At the end of the season, the champion is promoted to the First Division and the team finishing in the bottom of the First Division is relegated to the Second Division. A promotion/relegation playoff game takes place between the team placing second in the Second Division and the 6th placed team in the First Division.

Munxar Falcons were crowned BOV GFA 2nd Division Champions.

Munxar went into the final game of the season with a 1 point lead over neighbours and rivals Sannat Lions and went in firing on all cylinders and opening a 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of the game and dominating the first half.
