The Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1  الرابطة الجزائرية المحترفة الأولى لكرة القدم‎); known as Championnat National de Première Division or Ligue 1 for short, and formerly known as the Championnat National 1, is the Algerian professional league for association football clubs. It is the country's primary football competition and serves as the top division of the Algerian football league system. Ligue 1 is one of two divisions making up the Ligue de Football Professionnel, the other being Ligue Professionnelle 2. The league is contested by 16 clubs, and it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Ligue 2,

The 2017–18 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 will be the 54th season of the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 since its establishment in 1962. A total of 16 teams will contest the league.

All Derby matches between CR Belouizdad, MC Alger, NA Hussein Dey, USM Alger, USM El Harrach and Paradou AC will be played on July 5, 1962 Stadium which seats 64,000 spectators

Algeria - 2014/15 Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur

Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur commonly known as the LNFA, is an Algerian governing body that runs the third-highest division in the Algerian football league system cold National Amateur Football Championship. The division has three groups based on the region of the clubs in the country, each containing 14 teams from their respective regions.

Algeria - 2014/15 Ligue Professionnelle 2

The Ligue Professionnelle 2, known as Ligue 2 for short, and formerly known as Championnat National 2, is the second highest division overall in the Algerian football league system. It is also one of two divisions making up the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), the other being Ligue Professionnelle 1, the country's top football division.

The season will be played between 16 teams, with the top three teams being promoted to the Ligue Professionnelle 1 and the bottom three teams being relegated to the Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur
