The Uruguayan Primera División (English: First Division Professional League) also known as the "Primera División Uruguaya" or "Primera División de Uruguay" (English: Uruguayan First Division) is organized by the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF).
The First Championship of Uruguayan Primera Division was held in 1900, being an amateur competition until 1932 when the league became professional.

Coca-Cola" for sponsorship reasons, is regarded as the 23rd most
difficult football league in the 21st century by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics.
The 2014–15 Liga Profesional de Primera División season, also known as the 2014–15 Copa Uruguaya or the 2014–15 Campeonato Uruguayo, is the 111th season of Uruguay's top-flight football league, and the 84th in which it is professional.
