Malta - 2014/15 Maltese Third Division

The Maltese Third Division (also known as the Bank of Valletta Third Division) is the lowest league level in Maltese football. There are currently 22 teams participating in the league.
The Division comprises two sections - Section A with eleven teams and Section B with eleven teams. Both sections play two rounds with the winner in each group getting promoted to the Maltese Second Division. Relegation play-offs between the 2nd and 3rd placed teams of both groups and the 10th place finisher of Second Division will determine the third team to be in the Second Division.
Because it is the lowest level in the Maltese Football League, there is no formal relegation from and promotion to the league. However, the two lowest placed teams have to reapply to take part the following season

The 2014/15 Premier League is currently being contested by 14 clubs.

Italy - Lega Pro 2014/15

The Lega Italiana Calcio Professionistico, commonly known as Lega Pro (Pro League), is the governing body that runs the eponymous third highest football division in Italy
In the last edition (2013–14), Prima Divisione consisted of two groups: Girone A and Girone B, respectively of 17 and 16 teams. At the end of the season, four teams (two from each group) go up to Serie B and six teams (three from each group) go down to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione.
Also Seconda Divisione consisted of two groups: Girone A and Girone B, but both of 18 teams. At the end of the season, six teams (three from each group) go up to Lega Pro Prima Divisione and nine teams (four from each group plus the loser play-out from each division) go down to Serie D. In both the Seconda Divisione, teams are split by geographical criteria, with the exception of the Sicilian team Milazzo that plays in group A.
The Seconda Divisione, until the summer 2010 consisted of 54 teams, but in the season 2010–11 the teams were only 49 divided geographically into three divisions of 17, 16 and 16 teams each. At the end of the season, six teams (two from each group) went up to the Prima Divisione and four: two for the group A and one for each of the other two groups, went down to Serie D.
On 21 November 2012, it was announced that the two levels would be merged into a unique league composed by three groups of 20 teams each starting from the 2014–15 season. The merge became effective with the 2014–15 Lega Pro season.

The 2014–15 Lega Pro Divisione Unica is the first season of the unified Lega Pro division in place of the old Prima Divisione and Seconda Divisione. The league is composed of 60 teams divided into three different groups of 20 each

England - 2014/15 Sky Bet League

Football League One (often referred to as League One for short or Sky Bet League 1) is the second-highest division of the Football League and the third tier in the English football league system.
Football League One was introduced for the 2004–05 season. It was previously known as the Football League Second Division and prior to the advent of the Premier League, the Football League Third Division.
At present (2014–15 season), Oldham Athletic hold the longest tenure in League One, last being out of the division in the 1996–97 season when they were relegated from the Championship. There are currently six former Premier League clubs competing in the League One, namely Barnsley F.C., Bradford City, Coventry City, Oldham Athletic, Sheffield United and Swindon Town.
The 2014–15 Football League One (referred to as the Sky Bet League One for sponsorship reasons) is the eleventh season of the Football League Championship under its current title and the twenty-second season under its current league division format. The season is set to begin on 9 August 2014.
There are 24 clubs in Football League One.  At the end of the season a table of the final League standings is determined, based on the following criteria in this order: points obtained, goal difference, goals scored, an aggregate of the results between two or more clubs (ranked using the previous three criteria) and, finally, a series of one or more play-off matches.
At the end of each season the top two clubs, together with the winner of the play-offs between the clubs which finished in 3rd–6th position, are promoted to Football League Championship and are replaced by the three clubs that finished at the bottom of that division.
Similarly, the four clubs that finished at the bottom of Football League One are relegated to Football League Two and are replaced by the top three clubs and the club that won the 4th–7th place play-offs in that division.
