The 2015 Astro Malaysia Premier League (also known as Astro Liga Premier Malaysia 2015) is the 12th season of the Malaysia Premier League since its inception in 2004. 12 teams participated in the league with PDRM FA as the reigning champions and currently play in the top flight of Malaysian football, Malaysia Super League.
A total of 12 teams are contesting the league, including 8 sides from the 2013 season, two promoted from the 2014 Malaysia FAM League and two relegated from 2014 Malaysia Super League.
On 27 May 2013, Kuala Lumpur earned promotion from the 2014 Malaysia FAM League. They returned to the second division after being absent for a year. This was followed by Kuantan FA. The two teams replace Perlis FA and PBAPP F.C. who were all relegated to the 2015 Malaysia FAM League.
T-Team and PKNS were relegated from 2014 Malaysia Super League. They are replacing PDRM F.A. and Felda United who get promotion to 2015 Malaysia Super League.
