Finland - Ykkönen 2014


Ykkönen (Finnish for 'Number One'; Swedish: Ettan) is the second highest level of the Finnish football league system (after the Veikkausliiga), although it is the highest league managed by the Football Association of Finland.
The 2014 Ykkönen started on 27 April 2014 and ended on 4 October 2014. The winner team will qualify directly for promotion to Veikkausliiga 2015. The bottom 2 teams will qualify directly for relegation to Kakkonen.

- FC KooTeePee, Kotka (FC KooTeePee)
- FC Viikingit Edustus, Helsinki (FC Viikingit)
- Football Club Haka, Valkeakoski (FC Haka)
- HIFK Soccer, Helsinki (HIFK)
- Ilves, Tampere (Ilves)
- JIPPO, Joensuu (JIPPO)
- JJK Jyväskylä (JJK)
- Oulun edustusjalkapallo (AC Oulu)
- Pallokerho -35 Vantaa (PK-35 Vantaa)



HIFK were the surprise winners of the Finnish First Division this year, ending 42 years outside the top flight.
